The 5th Edition of DPS Kolar MUN witnessed phenomenal growth, with around 500 delegates from different schools across the country registering for the three-day gala event held from October 20-22, 2023. The event was inaugurated by Principal Mrs. Vandana Dhupar and the Executive Board Members.

A notable innovation in this edition was the inclusion of students from classes 5-7 to nurture their debating and research skills at an early age. Special committees such as Rajya Sabha, UNHRC, UNGA, and UNEP were introduced for these young delegates, where they discussed various global issues and drafted resolutions with common consensus.

The 5th Edition created history by providing an MUN platform for students from 'Somvati Devi Shiksha Kendra,' a pro bono initiative allowing children from all backgrounds to participate, negotiate, debate, and drive change. This inclusive approach brought these students to the same stage where they could equally participate in diplomatic discourse. Chief Advisor Manas Dowlani deserves special recognition for his exceptional contribution to this groundbreaking initiative, which significantly expanded the reach and impact of the DPS Kolar MUN.
